Claiming Your Lottery Prize in Thailand:

The lottery prize claim period is usually 2 years from the draw date.

Winners can claim their prize at the Government Lottery Office (GLO) in Bangkok or at the nearest provincial office.

Winners must bring their winning lottery ticket, a valid identification document, and their bank account details to claim the prize.

If the prize amount is 20,000 baht or less, winners can claim it on the same day. If the prize amount is more than 20,000 baht, winners must wait for at least 15 days to receive the prize.

Winners of the first prize or jackpot (usually several million bahts) must claim their prize in person at the GLO headquarters in Bangkok. They must bring their winning lottery ticket, valid identification document, bank account details, and a tax identification number.

Winners who are not Thai citizens must bring their passport and a certificate of residence to claim their prize.

In case the winning lottery ticket is damaged or unreadable, winners can file a complaint at the GLO within 30 days of the draw date. They must submit their complaint in writing along with the original damaged ticket, a photocopy of their identification document, and a witness statement.

The GLO will conduct an investigation, and if the complaint is found to be valid, the winner will receive a new ticket with the same number as the damaged one.

The GLO reserves the right to withhold the prize money if there is any suspicion of fraud, cheating, or illegal activity.
